ready to rock

so this week i decided to jus suck it up and install the rails environment on my work computer. (the backstory is that my personal laptop is RIP). i was waitin around to buy a new one and got impatient. anyway, i tried one way that didnt work out. i asked a friend for help but couldnt wait for a response. i googled hard-core and ended using this install guide. i ended up figuring it out with the help of a coder on #heroku irc chat. pretty proud of myself for not giving up on it. next step is build something that doesnt crash.
